Strategi Pengembangan Perikanan Budidaya Tambak Di Desa Bulumanis Kidul Kabupaten Pati

Bulumanis Kudul Village is one of coastal villages in Pati Regency
and it has the second largest pond area in Margoyoso Subdistrict.
Bulumanis Kidul Village pond area is passed by Suwatu River which
is used as liquid waste disposal of tapioca industries. The aim of
research was to formulate strategy for the development of
aquaculture pond fishery in Bulumanis Kidul Village. The research
was held in September 2013. Source of primary data were field
observations and interview with purposive informants. Selected
Informant were Marine and Fisheries Agency of Pati Regency, the
Head and official of Bulumanis Kidul Village, and also fish farmers of
Bulumanis Kidul Village, while the secondary data obtained through
studying relevant documents from the relevant agencies. This
research used descriptive quantitative and qualitative method. Data
were analyzed using SWOT and QSPM. Result of the research:
Internal and External matrix produce a strategy of growth through
horizontal integration by forming a group whose members are
brackish water pond farmers in Bulumanis Kidul Village. Grand
Strategy matrix produces aggresive growth policies by activating
ponds that have not been used, implementing more professional marketing system and forming brackish water pond farmer group.
The prior strategy from QSPM method is appropriate development
management to maintain the continuity of brackish water pond
business in Bulumanis Kidul Village.
