Strategi Masyarakat Pedesaan Untuk Daulat Energi Melalui Pendidikan

Energy sovereignty plays an important role in the economic development of the community, which currently becomes the priority of the government's program. Appropriate and efficient use of energy is an essential condition for improving the economy of rural communities. However, scaracity and high price of energy occasionaly happen in the rural area. Many rural areas have potential resources for renewable enery development. It is crucial to fulfill the need of energy, to decrease community dependency fossil fuel, and decrease the budget deficit on fossil fuel’s subsidy. The energy soverignity should be established throgh education, promotion, and training on effective and efficient use of energy. It sould be conducted in every rural area with the sustainable supervision. The final objection of energy sovereignity is self-sufficiency of energy and awareness on energy-thrifty behaviors.
