Angka Kematian Ibu (AKI) Ditinjau Dari Pemanfaatan Pelayanan Kesehatan Maternal Di Kabupaten Pati

Availability of maternal health facility is a must on reduction maternal mortality in Indonesia. This study aimed : (1) to describe Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) of Pati Regency during period 2008-2012, (2) to analyze determination the scope of maternal health services, includes Antenatal Care (ANC), childbirth by skilled birth attendant and Postnatal Care (PNC) to MMR distribution on 29 Community Health Center (Puskesmas) in Pati Regency. This study used quantitative approach as well as qualitative approach. Results if this study are: (1) MMR of Pati Regency is fluctuating as long last five years, which the highest point was in 2011 with 126 per 100.000 live births. Higher MMR is frequently found in highland or mountain area and border area. The barrier of reducing maternal mortality in mountain area sourced by traditional custom and tradition which is applied by community, while border area inhibits access to comprehensive Emergency Obstetric and Neonatal Care (PONEK), so that obstetric complication case often is handle by non PONEK hospital in other nearby regency. (2) The scope of maternal health services (ANC), childbirth by skilled birth attendant, and PNC were significantly have no determination to MMR distribution on 29 Community Health Center (Puskesmas) in Pati Regency (α <0,05).
